The album is executive produced by worship trailblazers Darlene Zschech, the Australian icon behind the global classic Shout to the Lord, and Michael W. Smith, a four-time GRAMMY Award winner and recipient of 45 Dove Awards. Spanning 13 tracks, House of Worship breathes fresh life into beloved songs through inspired duets and renewed arrangements.

The recordings took place live in the round at World Wide Stages in Spring Hill, Tennessee, with all artists gathered together, creating an intimate and deeply reverent atmosphere that blends legacy voices with contemporary worship expression.

The guest lineup reads like a hall of fame for worship music. Contributors include CeCe Winans, Kari Jobe, Brian and Jenn Johnson of Bethel Music, Chris Brown of Elevation Worship, Matt Redman, Israel Houghton, Cody Carnes, Christy Nockels, Charity Gayle, and Hillary Scott of Lady A, among many others. Together, the artists represented on the album account for 48 GRAMMY Awards, 142 nominations, and 183 Dove Awards, highlighting the remarkable scope and influence of the project.

Among the standout moments is a stirring new version of Shout to the Lord, featuring Darlene Zschech alongside 17-time GRAMMY winner CeCe Winans, offering a fresh yet faithful take on the 1994 anthem sung by millions worldwide. Michael W. Smith joins Elevation Worship’s Chris Brown on a majestic rendition of Agnus Dei, while Kari Jobe partners with Brian and Jenn Johnson for a tender and heartfelt performance of Breathe.

Additional highlights include renewed versions of I Could Sing of Your Love Forever, Here I Am to Worship, Open the Eyes of My Heart, Come Now Is the Time to Worship, The Heart of Worship, and more.

Produced by Paul Mabury and John Hartley, the album weaves together cinematic storytelling, reflective interviews, and worship moments marked by humility and awe. According to Michael W. Smith, the heart behind the project was simple and sincere: to gather friends in worship and revisit songs that have played a defining role in countless lives of faith.

The release has already generated excitement online. Sharing his enthusiasm earlier today, Smith wrote, “My friends at House of Worship released an album today. It was an honour to be a part of it. Give it a listen.”

House of Worship is now available on all major streaming platforms via The Fuel Music. A special global worship streaming event is also set for February 1, 2026, in partnership with The Fuel Music and in:ciite Events, with sponsorship from World Vision. Churches, small groups, and individuals around the world are invited to participate in what is expected to be a unifying night of praise and reflection.

Arriving at a time when the global church is longing for both renewal and rootedness, House of Worship honours the past while pointing boldly toward the future. By bringing together legendary voices and contemporary leaders, the album stands as a reminder that worship transcends generations, styles, and borders, remaining a timeless expression of faith and devotion.
