Raine shared her appreciation for being part of the album in a social media post, describing the recording experience as special and praising Wells for bringing the project together. “So grateful to be a part of this special project with my brother @taurenwells,” she wrote. Raine also encouraged listeners to experience the full album following its release.

Naomi Raine features on “What A Miracle Feels Like (Live),” one of the collaborative tracks featured on Wells’ first live worship album. Released October 2, 2026, Here Comes The Church was recorded before a sold-out audience at Austin City Limits’ Moody Theatre in Austin, Texas.

The 14-song project, with additional material depending on the edition, revisits songs from Wells’ 2026 studio album Breathe On It, giving them new live arrangements and performances. The album brings together artists from different corners of gospel and contemporary Christian music, including Tasha Cobbs Leonard, Israel Houghton, Tiffany Hudson, Hulvey, Paul and Hannah McClure, Abbie Gamboa and Raine.

Wells has explained that the project was created around the idea of bringing people together across different musical styles, cultures and backgrounds. Rather than focusing on one particular section of the Christian music community, the album seeks to highlight what can happen when people come together around their shared identity as the Church.

The collaboration between Wells and Raine on “What A Miracle Feels Like” previously gained significant attention through the studio and live versions of the song, which accumulated millions of streams and views while also reaching the top of Vevo charts.

The song centres on faith in a God who can still do the impossible, a message Raine has previously connected with through her contribution to the track.

Wells has also spoken openly about the heart behind Here Comes The Church, describing it as an expression of his love for the Church despite its imperfections and struggles. He has pointed to the tension between the Church’s brokenness and the work of Jesus to redeem and restore it.

Raine’s reaction to the project reflects that same emphasis on togetherness. Her words point beyond the music itself to the relationships, shared faith and collective experience that shaped the recording.

With Here Comes The Church now available, listeners can hear Wells’ vision through a live project built around collaboration, worship and a broader picture of the Church coming together.
