Josiah Queen’s “Dusty Bibles” Wins GMA Dove Awards Song Of The Year
Josiah Queen’s “Dusty Bibles” Wins GMA Dove Awards Song Of The Year. Christian artist Josiah Queen used his Song of the Year win at the 57th Annual GMA Dove Awards to highlight what matters most to him, declaring that serving Jesus remains the greatest honour of his life.

Reflecting on his journey during his acceptance speech in Nashville, Josiah Queen expressed gratitude to the songwriters and musicians whose work had inspired him long before he stepped onto the awards stage himself. “I grew up following awards and looking up to so many of you songwriters and musicians,” he said. “You guys have really changed my life, so thank you for that.”
Although he described receiving the award as “a huge honour,” Josiah made it clear that the recognition could not compare to his faith. “The greatest honour I can have as a human being is to serve Jesus,” he declared.
The singer-songwriter also opened up about some of the difficult seasons that shaped his life, revealing that he had experienced periods of loneliness and depression. He explained that his transformation did not come through social media or the approval of others, but through spending time in God’s Word and growing in his relationship with Him.
“Jesus completely and radically changed my life,” Queen shared, pointing to his faith as the defining influence behind his personal journey.
Queen also acknowledged the privilege of writing the song that earned one of Christian music’s most prestigious songwriting honours before closing his speech with a simple expression of thanks.
His acceptance speech offered a glimpse into the faith that continues to shape his music and ministry. While the Song of the Year award marks an important milestone in his career, Queen’s remarks placed the achievement within a bigger picture, one centred on a life changed by Jesus and a commitment to serving Him.
For Queen, the recognition was worth celebrating, but his message was clear: no industry accolade could surpass the privilege of serving Christ.
