JUDIKAY PREPS TO DROP NEW WORSHIP EP “YESHUA: THE SUMMARY OF MY LIFE.” Nigerian gospel powerhouse Judikay has unveiled plans for a deeply personal new project, announcing that her upcoming EP, Yeshua: The Summary of My Life, will arrive on March 27, 2026.
In a heartfelt message shared with fans, the award-winning worship leader described the project as something far greater than a typical music release. According to Judikay, the EP reflects a season of spiritual renewal shaped by prayer, surrender, and a deeper encounter with Jesus Christ.
The singer, born Judith Kanayo-Opara, is widely known for stirring worship anthems such as “Capable God,” “More Than Gold,” and “Idinma.” With this new project, she says God has been working in her heart in profound ways, reminding her that her calling goes far beyond chart success or streaming numbers.
“The Lord has been shifting my heart in ways I cannot ignore,” she shared. “He’s been reminding me that this calling is not merely about releasing sounds. It goes beyond the streams and the hits. We are grateful for those and will never take them for granted. But it is not only about those things.”
Judikay explained that the songs on Yeshua: The Summary of My Life came together naturally through intimate moments with God rather than through rushed studio sessions. Many of the tracks, she said, were formed in seasons of prayer, reflection, and personal wrestling with faith.
“These songs were not rushed,” she explained. “They were born in prayer, in questions, and in a renewed understanding of the sacrifice on the cross. They were born in wrestlings and surrender. There were moments when I had nothing but His name to hold on to, and through all of it I found Him faithful.”
At its core, the EP is intended as an invitation for listeners to encounter Jesus in a personal and transformative way. Judikay expressed a desire for people to recognise Christ’s presence in their own life stories, even during the most difficult seasons.
“My heart now beats even stronger with one desire,” she said. “That you see Jesus in your own story, even in the hard chapters. Yeshua: The Summary of My Life is an invitation. Jesus wants to be known by you. He is seeking you, and you will realise He has been present in your journey all along. This is about people truly meeting Him.”
The celebrated worship leader also shared her excitement about experiencing the project together with listeners when it arrives later this month.
“I cannot wait for you to experience Jesus with me in this new body of work,” she wrote. “Walk with me. March 27.”
Judikay’s upcoming EP adds to a growing legacy in the Nigerian gospel music scene, where she has become known for music that emphasises spiritual depth and authentic worship.
