Kingdmusic Reveals Tracklist for Upcoming JOY Album Ahead of Friday Release. South African gospel trailblazer Kingdmusic has set social media buzzing after officially revealing the tracklist for his forthcoming album JOY, a project that promises infectious rhythms, heartfelt worship, and uplifting collaborations.
Known for merging contemporary sounds with deep spiritual themes, the artist shared the announcement on Instagram, offering fans a first look at the album’s nostalgic yet playful cover art and confirming that the full project arrives this Friday, January 30, 2026.
The striking artwork features a tower of vintage television sets, each screen displaying a song title from the album. Kingdmusic appears front and centre, smiling brightly in striped overalls and a red cap, leaning casually against the stack. The visual blends retro charm with modern flair, reflecting the album’s intention to honour timeless faith while embracing fresh musical expression.
In his caption, Kingdmusic thanked everyone involved in the project and encouraged fans to pre-save the album via the link in his bio.
Comprised of ten tracks, JOY explores a wide sonic range, moving seamlessly between high-energy praise moments, reflective ballads, and collaborative standouts. The full tracklist reads as follows:

Behind the music is a strong creative collective. All songs were written by Denga Takalani, with additional writing contributions from Jesse Lee Grant Jacobs on tracks one and five, Lufuno Muthala on tracks two, eight and nine, Isaiah Roberts on track three, and Megan Rose on track eight.
Production was largely handled by Lufuno Muthala, with Thato Modika producing track five and KissBeatz taking charge of track eight. Kingdmusic also played a hands-on role in the creative direction, working alongside executive producer Lufuno Muthala. Art direction was led by Kingdmusic and Chieftwala, with photography by Anza R Photography. The album is released under KDM Records.
Adding to the rollout excitement, Kingdmusic will host an exclusive album listening party on January 29, 2026, at Urban Life Church in Midrand. In partnership with Spotify, the event will offer fans an intimate first listen, live performances, and insight into the creative process behind JOY.
