Judikay shared a heartfelt message, expressing the pain of witnessing such atrocities. “My heart is heavy for my country! The wickedness, the violence, the kidnapping of the girls in Kebbi, the bloodshed, the fear, the sheer inhumanity… it is unbearable to watch,” she wrote.

She went on to call for divine justice, declaring, “May every unrepentant worker of evil, every mastermind of terror, every hand that sheds innocent blood be brought under the full weight of the Lord’s justice… Nigeria, you will not remain in the grip of wicked men. The Lord Himself arises over us. Amen.”

Tim Godfrey echoed the sense of shock and urgency, highlighting the vulnerability of worshippers. “Prayers up for everyone affected by this attack. Lord, have mercy. Did you see those people running for their safety? Their only offence was that they went to church? This is unacceptable! It could have been anyone! What is the way forward?”

Mercy Chinwo condemned the violence, reaffirming the Church’s resilience. “The attack on worshippers in Kwara is evil, unacceptable, and heartbreaking. No one should ever fear for their life in the house of God,” she said. “But let it be known: the Church of Jesus Christ cannot be intimidated. Violence will not silence our worship. Darkness will not overcome His light.”

As Nigeria grapples with a rising wave of attacks targeting innocent civilians, these artists have called on both divine intervention and communal solidarity. Their messages serve as a reminder of the enduring faith of Nigerians and the unshakable belief that hope, justice, and light will ultimately prevail over fear and darkness.
