7 Hills Worship Turns Brokenness Into Worship On New EP ‘Broken Open’ Contemporary worship collective 7 Hills Worship is inviting believers into a deeper expression of faith, surrender and gratitude with the release of its latest project, Broken Open. The five-track EP officially arrived on Friday, November 6, 2026, and is now available across major streaming platforms.
Hailing from Florence, Kentucky, the worship team continues to build on its heart for creating music that connects honest expressions of faith with the hope found in Jesus. The new project follows the release of the group’s latest single just a day earlier, giving listeners another glimpse into the musical and spiritual direction behind this latest offering.
Featuring five songs, Broken Open brings together a collection centred on surrender, prayer, God’s goodness and thanksgiving. The tracklist includes ‘O Calvary’, ‘Take It To The Throne’, ‘How Good You Are’, ‘Broken Open’ and ‘Thank You Lord’.
Among the standout moments is ‘Take It To The Throne’, which previously arrived as a single and sets the atmosphere for a project rooted in prayer and complete dependence on God. Meanwhile, the title track, ‘Broken Open’, explores the beauty of coming before God without pretending to have everything figured out. It speaks to the importance of bringing every part of our lives before Him, including the places marked by pain, uncertainty and brokenness.
The project also makes room for reflection through ‘O Calvary’ and celebrates God’s faithfulness through the gratitude-filled ‘Thank You Lord’. Together, the songs create a worship experience that speaks to both personal devotion and the collective expression of faith within the church.
As the music ministry of 7 Hills Church, which serves the Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky region, 7 Hills Worship has continued to grow its reach through original worship music. The collective previously released its 2025 live album Beautiful Life, alongside projects such as Looking Glass (Live) and …Like Poetry.
Across its catalogue, the team has remained committed to writing songs that point people towards hope, the goodness of God and the life-changing presence of Jesus.
