Koketso Molaolwe, leader of Mmuso Church and Mmuso Worship, took to social media to reflect on the remarkable journey from a boy with a bass guitar to leading a worship ministry that now touches thousands.

Molaolwe shared a heartfelt post tracing the roots of Mmuso Worship back to 2010, when he and a small group of friends formed a band called Soul’D. “Just a boy with a bass and a dream,” he wrote, recalling how none of them could have imagined the path God was preparing. Fifteen years later, that seed has grown into Mmuso Worship, a ministry now recognised for its passionate performances and spiritual impact.

Reflecting on the past weekend’s Jesus To The City event at Heartfelt Arena, Molaolwe expressed awe at how far the ministry has come. “This is what God did through Mmuso Church / Worship this weekend. I’m undone,” he remarked, highlighting the powerful response from congregants and the community. The journey, he notes, has been one of “quiet faithfulness to uncommon favour,” a testament to years of dedication and spiritual discipline.

Mmuso Worship’s rise is a reminder of how small beginnings, rooted in faith, can lead to extraordinary outcomes. For Koketso Molaolwe and his team, the next chapter promises even greater opportunities to inspire and lead through worship.
