The newborn spent two months in an incubator while Greene’s wife remained hospitalised for the same duration. During that difficult time, her leg began to wither away from complications. It was in the midst of this intense medical battle that Greene found himself writing the powerful lyrics.
“My son was born at 28 weeks. Two pounds. It was in the incubator for two months. My wife was in the hospital for two months. Her leg was withering away. This is where I wrote this: ” You made a way,” Travis Greene recounted.
He explained that he composed the declaration in the past tense from the very start. “I did not write a song that said you’ll make a way. I wrote it in the past tense. Get it? Because anything God’s about to do, he’s already done.”

But proactive praises say, I walk in with it. I enter this court with praises. I have enough history with God. I know that he’s able to do exceedingly, abundantly above all I can ask or think. I praise him in advance. I’m in the court.”
