What began with an unexpected delay ended as a deeply moving night of worship, with Elevation Worship’s Tiffany Hudson and David Mutendji bringing the Pretoria stop of the “Jesus Be The Name Tour” to life at Heartfelt Arena on Sunday, 2 August, through an evening marked by faith, gratitude and heartfelt praise.
Excitement filled the venue well before the programme was due to begin, but unforeseen technical issues delayed the start of the event. Rather than leaving the audience guessing, the 3C Church pastor stepped onto the stage to explain the situation and assured attendees that the technical team was working to resolve the problem. The honest update was met with patience, allowing anticipation to build instead of frustration.
Outside the auditorium, long queues formed at the ticketing points and food stalls. While those waiting for refreshments had to exercise a little more patience, the ticketing process remained smooth and well organised, ensuring ticket holders entered the venue without unnecessary confusion.
After the technical issues were resolved, the evening officially got underway at around 7:45 pm. Hosted by media personality and Jesus This, Jesus That founder Rorisang Thandekiso, the programme carried more than just musical performances. Throughout the night, she shared Scripture and encouraging messages that pointed the audience toward God, thoughtfully preparing hearts before each worship segment.
