The Congolese-South African worship leader returned to minister just an hour away from the community where he grew up, making the night feel like a full-circle moment in his faith journey. A day after the event, Mutendji took to social media to share how deeply the experience had affected him.
“Still not over last night; 4,000 people showed up an hour away from where I grew up to worship Jesus. I’ve been watching all the videos that you’ve been posting, and GRATEFUL does not fully explain how I feel,” he wrote.

The Pretoria event, organised by Christocentric Worship Events, was the second and final stop of Tiffany Hudson’s South African visit after a worship night in Cape Town the previous evening.
