ZimPraise Marks Two Decades Of Worship With New Anniversary Music
ZimPraise Marks Two Decades Of Worship With New Anniversary Music. ZimPraise The Choir is marking 20 years of worship ministry with the release of The 20th Anniversary Collection, Vol. 1, opening a year-long celebration that will culminate in a major gathering at Glamis Arena in Harare.
The four-track collection is now available across major digital streaming platforms, bringing together performances from Munashe Ndoma, Babalala_zw, Desire Mushandiri Washe and Danny Mande.
The opening volume features “Muri Mwari” by Munashe Ndoma, “Tadziona Nyasha” by Babalala_zw, “Hatichachemi (Kunyika)” by Desire Mushandiri Washe and “Mashoko” by Danny Mande.
ZimPraise marked the release by reflecting on the journey that began in 2006, describing the milestone as 20 years of grace and an unforgettable journey.
The anniversary project is also setting the stage for what could become one of the choir’s biggest gatherings yet. ZimPraise will host its Apostolic Gathering and 20th Anniversary Celebration on 14 November 2026 at Glamis Arena in Harare.
With the new songs expected to feature prominently at the celebration, the choir has encouraged supporters to learn the material ahead of the event. The group even issued a light-hearted rehearsal warning, reminding attendees not to be caught simply mouthing the words when the cameras are rolling.
Founded in 2006 as an interdenominational praise and worship collective, ZimPraise has grown into one of Zimbabwe’s prominent gospel movements. Led by Joseph Madziyire alongside the wider Zimpraise Legacy Network, the ministry has released numerous live worship projects, developed worship leaders and built a strong following through its annual Apostolic Gatherings.
The 20th anniversary collection arrives as a reminder of the ministry’s long-running commitment to worship while also pointing toward its next chapter. More music is expected during the anniversary year as ZimPraise builds toward the November celebration.
For supporters who have followed the choir through its two-decade journey, the anniversary is an opportunity to revisit its music, celebrate its legacy and gather for another major expression of worship.
The 20th Anniversary Collection, Vol. 1 is available to stream now, with ZimPraise’s 20th anniversary celebration set for 14 November at Glamis Arena.
