Ncebakazi Msomi Announces New Chapter In ‘The 37th Psalm’ Series: ‘The Image’
Ncebakazi Msomi Announces New Chapter In ‘The 37th Psalm’ Series: ‘The Image.’ South African gospel minister Ncebakazi Msomi is set to continue her scripture-inspired musical journey with the release of The 37th Psalm: The Image, scheduled to arrive on 29 October 2026, exactly one year after her previous The 37th Psalm project.
In an announcement shared on Instagram, Ncebakazi Msomi described the upcoming release as “my personal chapters which I pray God will unpack for your edification.” Her words offer a glimpse into the personal and spiritual significance of the project, which continues a body of work shaped by her relationship with God and her love for Scripture.
The announcement follows the October 2025 release of The 37th Psalm (Live at Emperors Palace), a live album released under Grace and Mercy Music. Titled The 37th Psalm: God The Father, Son and Holy Spirit, the previous project placed the Triune God at the centre of its message, drawing inspiration from the Bible and the enduring truths found in the Psalms.
With The Image, Msomi is preparing to share another instalment of this journey. While she has not revealed further details about the upcoming release, her description of the songs as personal chapters suggests a continuation of the honest, faith-centred expression that has shaped the series.
The East London-born singer, who previously served as a member of Joyous Celebration, has continued to establish herself as a solo gospel minister known for her powerful vocals and scripturally grounded approach to music. Her earlier work, including The 34th Psalm, also reflects her connection to the biblical book of Psalms and its expressions of faith, trust and devotion.
As anticipation builds for the next release, listeners familiar with Msomi’s previous project can look forward to another opportunity to engage with her musical reflections on faith and her walk with God.
The 37th Psalm: The Image is scheduled for release on 29 October 2026.
