Red Rocks Worship Ushers In Christmas Season With Joyful New EP “Son of Heaven”
Red Rocks Worship Ushers In Christmas Season With Joyful New EP “Son of Heaven.” Just as the first hints of holiday lights begin to flicker across neighbourhoods, Red Rocks Worship has delivered an early gift to the Church. The collective from Red Rocks Church officially released their brand-new Christmas EP, Son of Heaven, today, perfectly timed for New Music Friday and the start of the Advent season.

The three-song project centres on the hope and wonder of Christ’s coming. It opens with a fresh, worship-driven arrangement of the ancient carol “O Come, O Come Emmanuel,” reimagined and intertwined with their recent anthem “The Lord Is With Me.” The result is both familiar and newly intimate, inviting listeners to linger in the longing and the promise of Emmanuel, “God with us.”
Next comes a reverent take on “O Holy Night,” followed by a return of their beloved track “Hope Has Come (Behold Him).” Together, the songs form a short but powerful set that moves from expectation to celebration, capturing the heart of the Christmas story in the warm, anthemic style Red Rocks Worship has become known for.
In a message shared alongside the release, the team expressed their excitement: “We can’t wait to celebrate the hope of Jesus with you this Christmas season!” The EP arrives as a natural extension of the group’s ongoing mission to create space for people to encounter God, whether in the grandeur of Red Rocks Amphitheatre or in the quiet moments of personal worship at home.
Coming on the heels of their highly praised live album Promised Land earlier this year, Son of Heaven shows the collective’s continued desire to serve the Church with music that is both timely and timeless. Available now on all major streaming platforms, the EP is already finding its way into playlists, living rooms, and churches preparing for the season of Advent.
Son of Heaven offers a beautiful invitation: to slow down, lift their eyes, and behold the Son who came and is coming again.
