Chelsea Plank Explores The Heart Of Surrender On New EP ‘Make Me Willing.’ Chelsea Plank is continuing to carve out her own space as a solo artist with the release of her latest four-track EP, Make Me Willing, now available. The project adds another chapter to the SEU Worship vocalist and worship director’s musical journey, building on previously released singles “When You Give It Up,” “Moonlight,” and “I’m Going.”

At the centre of the project is its title track, which explores the honest and sometimes uncomfortable process of surrendering to God. Reflecting on the heart behind the song ahead of its release, Plank explained that it focuses on recognising how the parts of ourselves that need God the most can ultimately become the very places where He is glorified.

“Not about striving towards willingness, but about inviting God into the unwillingness in me,” she shared, offering a glimpse into the song’s central message.

The theme gives the EP a deeply personal foundation, touching on the tension between knowing what God is asking of us and still struggling to fully embrace His direction. Rather than presenting willingness as something believers must manufacture on their own, Plank points towards the importance of bringing even the reluctant parts of our hearts before Him.

Her solo release also builds on an impressive run with SEU Worship, where she has become a familiar voice on several of the collective’s most successful songs. Among them are “What A God,” which has surpassed 138 million global streams, “Monday Morning Faith,” with more than 97 million streams, and “Fruit Takes Time.”

Those songs have helped establish Plank as a vocalist whose music carries both vulnerability and a strong sense of faith. With Make Me Willing, she brings that same approach into a more personal setting, delivering four tracks that honour the worshipful character of her work while helping listeners connect with her individual expression.

Beyond the EP, Plank continues to balance her responsibilities with SEU Worship and her growing solo career. She is also joining Abbie Gamboa as an opening act on a nearly sold-out fall tour, giving audiences a chance to experience her new material live.

With Make Me Willing, Chelsea Plank offers more than a collection of new songs. The project creates room for honest conversations with God, reminding listeners that surrender does not always begin with having everything figured out. Sometimes, it begins with inviting Him into the places where willingness is still a work in progress.
