Hillsong Worship Announces Three New Songs Ahead of Upcoming Live Album
Hillsong Worship Announces Three New Songs Ahead of Upcoming Live Album. Hillsong Worship has offered worshippers a glimpse of its upcoming music, sharing a preview featuring the biblical declaration, “BE HOLY BECAUSE I AM HOLY”, from 1 Peter 1:16 (NIV).
In a recent interview with GodTube Music, longtime Hillsong Worship member Jad Gillies revealed that the group is preparing to release three new songs on October 23, 2026. The tracks will serve as an early preview of a forthcoming live worship album expected in February 2027.
The upcoming releases are titled “Praise the Lord, Hallelujah, Amen,” “As You Are,” and “Flood.” Gillies explained that the songs emerge from the life of the local church, where they are introduced and developed in congregational settings before being shared with a wider audience. This approach has remained an important part of Hillsong Worship’s songwriting process over the years.
The scripture accompanying the announcement places holiness at the centre of the upcoming release. The words from 1 Peter 1:16 call believers to reflect God’s holy character, offering a fitting message for a collection of songs intended to serve the Church in worship.
The announcement also comes as Hillsong Worship continues its musical journey following the Great I AM project and its ongoing live worship gatherings. The collective is also scheduled to appear at OVO Arena Wembley as part of Hillsong Conference Europe, extending its ministry to worshippers beyond its home church.
Hillsong Worship has spent decades producing songs sung by congregations around the world, including “What a Beautiful Name” and “Who You Say I Am.” The upcoming release marks another step in that ongoing contribution to contemporary Christian worship, with three new songs set to introduce listeners to the collective’s forthcoming live album.
The three tracks are scheduled for release on October 23, 2026, ahead of the anticipated February 2027 album. With holiness at the heart of its latest announcement, Hillsong Worship is preparing to share new music that directs attention to the character of God and the call for His people to reflect it.
