House of Grace: A New Safe Haven For Abandoned Babies In Tshwane Needs Your Help

PRETORIA, SOUTH AFRICA. House of Grace: A New Safe Haven For Abandoned Babies In Tshwane Needs Your Help. In just three weeks, a new beacon of hope is set to shine for the most vulnerable among us—abandoned and at-risk babies. The Tshwane Place of Safety Association (TPSA) is thrilled to announce the upcoming launch of its third place of safety, affectionately named House of Grace, a safe home dedicated to nurturing and protecting infants in need.
Set to open its doors in Tshwane, House of Grace will serve as a vital sanctuary for babies who have been orphaned, neglected, or abandoned. The mission? To offer love, comfort, and stability in a secure and caring environment while social workers work to place these little ones in long-term loving homes.
But while the vision is bright, the present reality is sobering—the house is still mostly empty.
A Call for Community Support
TPSA is making an urgent plea to the community for support in turning this new house into a true home. The organisation is seeking donations of essential household items, either new or gently used, to make House of Grace a warm and welcoming space for its future tiny residents.
Urgently needed items include:
- Couches
- Curtains
- Mattresses, bedding, and blankets
- Loose carpets or rugs
- Fridge and/or freezer
- Washing machine
- Patio set
- Other general home essentials
- Nappies and milk formula
- Non-perishable food items
