Ncebakazi Msomi Reflects On 15 Years Of Living A Life Fully Aligned With God’s Calling. Celebrated worship leader Ncebakazi Msomi recently shared a deeply personal reflection on her journey of ministry, marking 15 years of walking in the calling God placed on her life.

In a heartfelt social media post, Msomi revealed the discipline, intentionality, and divine guidance that have shaped her approach to both her spiritual and professional life.
“I’ve lived long enough to know that you can condition your mind to drive nearly any outcome you want,” Msomi wrote. She reflected on her early days stepping into what she described as “the typically seen ministry,” emphasising her commitment to being more than just present.
From the start, she asked God for strength to show up fully every Monday after demanding weekends of ministry, ensuring she was not only physically present but mentally and spiritually ready to serve as an ambassador for the gospel. Msomi highlighted her consistent dedication, noting she has never taken sick leave due to ministry strains nor allowed her responsibilities to interfere with her professional work.
“It’s been by God’s expansive grace that till today I’m one of those people who get those ‘forced to take leave’ or ‘sell your days’ reminders, because I generally never take much time off,” she explained.
Central to Msomi’s message is her belief that true ministry extends beyond church walls and stages. She shared that God has taught her to view every moment as an opportunity to live out her faith, whether in significant acts of service or ordinary daily interactions. “The gospel is not only preached on stages on Sunday but also in the seemingly mundane moments that we live out daily,” she wrote.
For Msomi, every action, every conversation, and every decision is an opportunity to exemplify Christ’s teachings. She described life as a daily pulpit, where even quiet, seemingly ordinary moments speak louder than any microphone on a stage.
Msomi also stressed the importance of divine guidance in managing her schedule, explaining that she refuses to be sent anywhere by human authority alone. “The Replenisher of my strength is the Only controller of my divine schedule. When He sends, He refreshes,” she stated, underlining her reliance on God’s direction for both her ministry and personal life. Even after gruelling weekends of ministry and travel, she emphasised her ability to return to her responsibilities without excuse, fully energised and ready to serve, a testament to her steadfast faith and discipline.
Reflecting on her journey, Msomi encouraged others to approach their calling with intentionality and to recognise that the gospel is lived as much in daily actions as it is preached from a pulpit. “We are all, whether consciously or subconsciously, preaching something about Christ,” she concluded. “I am a full-time preacher of the gospel that’s preserved my life.”
Msomi’s reflections serve as a reminder of the discipline, faith, and dedication required to faithfully live out one’s divine calling while navigating the demands of everyday life. Her story underscores the power of consistency, spiritual alignment, and the ability to find divine strength in all circumstances.
