Philippa Hanna Prepares To Release Live Version of “’Til The Whole World Knows” With Israel Houghton. British worship leader and songwriter Philippa Hanna is bringing her powerful collaboration with Grammy-winning gospel artist Israel Houghton to streaming platforms, with a live recording of ’Til The Whole World Knows scheduled for release on January 30.
The upcoming release gives listeners another way to experience a song that has already captured attention through its official live video. Hanna recently confirmed the news, sharing her excitement about the live version recorded alongside Houghton.
Co-written by Hanna, Houghton and John Wilds, ’Til The Whole World Knows carries a stirring message of spiritual hunger, renewal and revival. Its lyrics, including “There’s a new wind blowing we’ve never known” and “Come and light us up ’til the whole world knows,” express a desire for a fresh move of the Holy Spirit that reaches beyond church walls and touches lives across the world.
The song has also found its place within conversations surrounding a growing sense of spiritual awakening, particularly among younger generations in the UK and beyond. Its live performances, including at major gatherings such as Big Church Festival, have helped bring its message of wholehearted worship and renewed faith to wider audiences.
Bringing together Hanna’s passionate songwriting and Houghton’s distinctive gospel influence, the collaboration offers a powerful expression of worship centred on the desire to see the message of Jesus reach every corner of the world.
The forthcoming recording will allow listeners to experience the atmosphere and energy of the live performance beyond the video, whether during personal moments of worship or in congregational settings. With its emphasis on revival, spiritual renewal and a faith that cannot remain hidden, the song invites believers to carry their worship beyond the room and into their everyday lives.
As the January 30 release date approaches, ’Til The Whole World Knows is poised to reach more listeners through digital streaming, extending its message of hope and spiritual awakening to believers around the world.
