Gracie Binion Finally Sets To Release Long-Awaited Single “Recompense.” Gracie Binion is preparing to release a song that has been years in the making.
Binion shared the news on social media, encouraging fans to pre-save the track through the link in her Instagram story and bio. “We’ve got another one on the way,” she wrote before announcing the release of “Recompense” and expressing her excitement for fans to finally hear it.
The upcoming song, which is set for Friday’s release, holds a meaningful place in Binion’s catalogue. She revealed that she wrote “Recompense” several years ago with friends and fellow worship leaders in Dallas, during the same creative period that eventually produced her 2024 debut album, I Miss You.
Despite being written years ago, the song remained unreleased. Binion reflected on finally reaching the point where it can be shared with listeners.
“I was never able to release it,” she said. “Very happy we made it here.”
Binion also acknowledged Grammy-winning mix engineer Sam Mix Gibson, known professionally as @sammixgibson, for his contribution to the recording. She thanked Gibson for taking the song and “making it into magic.”
The release comes as Binion continues to establish herself within contemporary Christian and worship music. The daughter of worship leaders and songwriters David and Nicole Binion, she gained recognition as a co-writer of “Hunger,” which was later recorded by CeCe Winans for her Grammy-winning album Believe For It.
Binion also contributed vocals and songwriting to Elevation Rhythm’s “Goodbye Yesterday” before continuing her solo journey under her own name, following her earlier work as MDSN. In 2025, she signed with BEC Recordings.
With “Recompense,” Binion is opening the door to a song that has remained in her archives for several years. The track arrives this Friday, giving listeners the chance to finally hear a piece of music from an earlier chapter of her creative journey.
