Judikay Shares Painful Story of Sixth Miscarriage In Emotional Testimony. In a deeply moving and unguarded testimony that has touched hearts across churches, social media, and homes worldwide, award-winning Nigerian gospel singer and worship leader Judikay has opened up about the pain of her sixth miscarriage, a loss that profoundly tested her faith in February 2025.

Judikay Shares Painful Story of Sixth Miscarriage In Emotional Testimony

Speaking in a message she titled My Yeshua Story, the celebrated voice behind More Than Gold and Osuba recalled how an ordinary day suddenly turned into one of unimaginable grief. Just over three months into a pregnancy she had carried with quiet hope, despite previous losses, the first signs of trouble began to appear.

“I started to experience cramps,” she shared. “I said, ‘Oh, okay, it’s one of those things.’ And then trickles of blood. I said, ‘Oh, okay, spotting.’”

For many women, those early signs can feel familiar. But in her case, the bleeding intensified. What seemed minor quickly became alarming, and in that moment, reality set in.

“I understood what that meant automatically,” she said, her voice carrying both composure and lingering pain. “I had lost this baby that had gone past the three-month mark again. That was the sixth time.”

She was rushed to the hospital, where doctors confirmed a missed miscarriage. A D&C procedure was followed, an emotionally and physically difficult process to remove the pregnancy tissue. Through the ordeal, she tried to hold on to her faith.

“I cried, I shouted as they carried out the procedure,” she recounted with striking honesty. “Afterwards, I told everyone, ‘God gets the glory.’ I kept saying it.”

But the strength she showed during the day gave way to overwhelming grief at night. In the stillness and solitude, the weight of her loss became impossible to mask.

“In the silence of the night, I felt a pain I could not put into words,” she said. “I would wail and cry, ‘Jesus, where are you?’”

Her testimony has since sparked a wave of empathy, prayers, and shared experiences from women who have endured similar heartbreak. Known for her powerful voice and sincerity in worship, Judikay’s openness now extends beyond music into the most personal corners of her life.

Married to Pastor Anselem Opara since 2020 and already a mother to a young son after years of waiting, she has long inspired audiences through her authenticity. This latest testimony deepens that connection, revealing the struggles behind the songs.

Her story comes at a time when conversations about pregnancy loss, infertility, and faith are becoming more visible in Christian spaces. Rather than presenting a polished narrative of instant victory, her account sits in the tension of pain and belief. It captures the moments many rarely speak about: the early signs dismissed, the sudden loss, and the quiet nights filled with unanswered questions.

Still, woven through her story is resilience. Even in grief, she continued to declare that God deserves the glory, choosing to turn toward her faith despite the silence she felt.
