In a heartfelt message shared on Instagram and echoed across other social platforms, the award-winning minister revealed a deep burden that has been weighing heavily on his heart and on those close to him concerning the future of their nation.

“My friends and I felt a deep burden for Zimbabwe,” Zamar shared. “Even though this is short notice, we believe God is calling the Body of Christ to come together this Monday evening for united worship and prayer for our nation.”

He stressed the spiritual intensity of the moment, explaining that while certain details cannot be openly shared, discerning believers can sense the urgency. According to Zamar, the atmosphere over the land is calling for prayer, repentance, and alignment with God’s will.

The gathering will take place at 7 Arts in Harare and is scheduled to begin at 18:30 local time. Zamar was intentional in clarifying the nature of the meeting, noting that it is not a concert or performance, but a sacred moment for believers to seek God together.

“We have invited worshippers to join us so that we can lift one sound of worship and intercession before the Lord,” he said. “This is not a concert, just believers seeking God together. Please join us if you can. It is free.”

Rooting the call in Scripture, Zamar referenced Genesis 12:7 with a clear sense of purpose, saying, “Come, let us raise an altar to the Lord in our land, for our descendants.”

This call to prayer comes at a time of heightened spiritual activity in Zimbabwe, following recent revival meetings and worship gatherings where Zamar has played a prominent role. As the nation continues to wrestle with economic, social, and political pressures, many within the Christian community are responding to calls for unified prayer as a pathway to healing and restoration.

As the founder of Worship Addicts and a respected voice in Southern African gospel music, Zamar has consistently used his platform to guide people into deeper encounters with God. This invitation reflects a growing conviction among believers that national transformation begins on the altar of prayer.

Doors will open on Monday evening at the 7 Arts venue in Harare, with no registration or admission fee required. Attendees are encouraged to come prepared to worship, pray, and stand in faith for the future of Zimbabwe.

For those unable to attend in person, the message has already ignited widespread prayer online, with many echoing the belief that this is a critical moment for intercession and unity.
