CXMMXNS MARKS ONE YEAR OF ‘ALL THE PRAISE BELONGS’ WITH A RENEWED FOCUS ON JESUS. Worship collective CXMMXNS, pronounced “Commons,” is celebrating one year since the release of its debut album, All The Praise Belongs, with the same declaration that inspired the project from the beginning: “All the praise belongs to Jesus.”
Released on August 8, 2025, the 12-track album has spent the past year finding a place in churches, homes and personal moments of worship. Marking the anniversary on August 8, 2026, the collective reflected on the journey and expressed gratitude to everyone who has listened, sung along and shared the songs.
“One year ago today, we released our first album as Commons. A year later, the prayer is still the same: All the praise belongs to Jesus,” the group shared. “Thank you for listening, singing, sharing, and worshipping with us over this past year. We pray these songs continue to serve your church, your home, and your quiet moments with the Lord.”
Released through Essential Worship / Provident, All The Praise Belongs introduced CXMMXNS as a collaborative worship movement led by GRAMMY and Dove Award-winning songwriters Ben Fielding and Reuben Morgan.
Both writers have played a significant role in contemporary congregational worship through their years with Hillsong, contributing to widely sung songs including “Mighty to Save,” “What a Beautiful Name” and “Who You Say I Am.” Through CXMMXNS, the pair have continued their focus on creating Scripture-rooted worship songs that can serve local churches and bring congregations together.
The album opens with “Praise Belongs,” featuring Aodhán King, setting the tone with its central declaration that praise belongs to the one true God. The project also features songs such as “Doorkeeper,” “Why We Praise,” “Say Amen,” “Trust and Obey” featuring CAIN, “Foot of the Cross,” a refreshed version of “Mighty to Save,” and the communion-centered “Remember Christ.”
Other collaborators include Bella Taylor Smith and Matt Maher, adding different voices and perspectives to a project built around congregational accessibility and worship.
CXMMXNS has remained active since the debut, expanding its body of work with projects including the live album Live in Manila, The Commons Chapel and its deluxe edition, as well as the Easter release The Commons Easter: I Saw Mercy.
Songs including “Praise Belongs” and “Doorkeeper” have emerged as key tracks from the collective, continuing to reach listeners through worship gatherings and personal devotion.
At the heart of CXMMXNS is a vision that extends beyond producing worship recordings. Fielding and Morgan have presented the collective as a movement focused on serving the local church through songs that are biblical, accessible and designed to unite worshippers.
One year after All The Praise Belongs first introduced that vision, the collective remains anchored in the same message. The songs may continue to reach new listeners and new churches, but their purpose remains unchanged: to point people toward Jesus and give Him all the praise.
