New Hezekiah Walker Performing Arts Center Set To Transform Gospel Music In South Africa
New Hezekiah Walker Performing Arts Center Set To Transform Gospel Music In South Africa. Renowned gospel artist and bishop Hezekiah Walker is celebrating the enduring power of a God-ordained relationship that has stood the test of time.

Upon returning home from a recent trip to South Africa, Walker reflected on a covenant he made nearly 20 years ago with Bishop Manny Niekerk. Despite scepticism from many who doubted its longevity, the partnership has flourished into a global network of churches and ministries.
“Almost 20 years ago, I made a covenant with Bishop Manny Niekerk,” Walker shared. “Many said it would not last. Many doubted the strength of what we were building, but today, I stand as a witness that a covenant, when it is God-ordained, is not seasonal. It is sustainable.”
The collaboration has given rise to the Covenant Keepers International Alliance, an organisation dedicated to making and keeping covenants. Walker described the alliance as living proof that God honours faithful commitments. Today, the relationship remains vibrant, with the two leaders undertaking significant joint initiatives across South Africa.
A major highlight of the trip is the announcement of a new landmark project: the Hezekiah Walker Performing Arts Center for Gospel Music of South Africa. The centre will serve as a hub where creativity, ministry, and excellence converge to uplift communities and shape future generations.
Walker expressed deep gratitude for the property, stating, “Thank you, God, for giving us this property. I promise to use it for your glory.” He emphasised the broader significance of the endeavour, noting that it transcends personal achievement.
This is bigger than us. This is legacy. This is covenant in motion,” Walker declared.
The Covenant Keepers International Alliance continues to expand its reach, fostering connections among believers worldwide under the motto “Where We Make Covenant and Keep Covenant.”
Walker’s latest update highlights themes of faithfulness, vision fulfilled, and global impact through kingdom work. The development of the performing arts center signals a bold step forward in gospel music ministry on the African continent, promising to inspire artists, leaders, and worshippers for years to come.
