In a heartfelt message to fans, Gaukrodger revealed that the deluxe edition is more than just an extension of her original album. It represents what she describes as a “secret gift in disguise,” shaped by unexpected returns to the studio and moments she says were marked by divine timing.
While she kept certain details intentionally undisclosed, the singer emphasised that the project is rooted in a central message that has guided her journey: God’s unwavering faithfulness. She explained that this theme was the “banner” under which The Reminder was first created and remains the foundation of the deluxe edition.
Drawing from Second Epistle to Timothy 2:11–13, Gaukrodger reflected on the contrast between human imperfection and divine consistency, writing that even when people fail or walk away, “God remains faithful, for He cannot deny Himself.”
The message carries added weight for the artist following what she described as a transformative year within her own family. Without going into specifics, she shared that she has witnessed what she calls miraculous moments firsthand, including one “walking, talking miracle” and another breakthrough nearly two decades in the making.
“These experiences have changed how this release feels for me now compared to a year ago,” she noted, reinforcing her declaration: “God is faithful, faithful, faithful.”
The Reminder DELUXE will feature a mix of new and reimagined material, including four brand-new tracks, three refreshed versions of fan favourites, and two collaborations with fellow worship artists Eccos and Cody Carnes. Fans can also expect a live recording captured in Brisbane, which Gaukrodger highlighted as a raw, no-overdub performance.
Among the most anticipated additions is a completely new song titled “Simply Worthy,” which the singer introduced with visible excitement.
Thanking supporters for their continued engagement, Taya Gaukrodger encouraged listeners to revisit the music with a fresh perspective, saying she hopes the deluxe project will inspire people to “look again” and recognise the same faithfulness that shaped its creation.
