SEU Worship Explores The Heart Of A Seeking God In New Live Album “Found in the Field” SEU Worship has released its latest live worship project, Found in the Field, a 13-track collection that turns the familiar biblical picture of the searching Shepherd into a powerful invitation to draw closer to God.
“We are never too far from the One who is always searching for us” is the message behind the album and its accompanying tour, capturing the central theme of a project shaped by the worship culture of Southeastern University in Lakeland, Florida.
Released on September 4, 2026, through Essential Worship / Provident Label Group, Found in the Field brings together the creativity of students, alumni, faculty and staff who make up the SEU Worship movement. The project follows previous releases including A Thousand Generations, Heart Cry, Move of God and A Forgiving God, continuing the collective’s emphasis on contemporary worship rooted in Christian theology.
The album takes its title from the imagery of Luke 15, where Jesus tells the story of a shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to search for the one that has gone astray. Rather than presenting God as distant and waiting for people to find their way back to Him, the project points to a God who actively searches, calls and restores.
Several songs released ahead of the full project have already introduced listeners to its spiritual direction. “Wild Rushing Wind,” featuring Caylie Bryant and recorded live during SEU Conference 2026, draws inspiration from Jesus’ words about the Spirit in John 3:8. The song embraces the unpredictable movement of the Holy Spirit and encourages listeners to surrender rather than attempt to control where He leads.
“Keep Me Right Here,” featuring Abbie Gamboa and Caylie Bryant, shifts the focus toward remaining close to God’s presence, expressing a desire for wisdom, revelation and a deeper sense of awe.
Elsewhere, “GLORY ARISE” turns attention toward the exalted Christ, drawing from biblical imagery surrounding the Lamb on the throne, while “The Cost Is a Joy” presents surrender and discipleship through the lens of joy rather than sacrifice alone.
The remaining tracks, including “NEED YOU,” “Bless The Blood,” “I AM,” “Just Like Jesus” and “Long For You,” continue exploring themes of spiritual hunger, the work of the cross, God’s identity, Christlikeness and the desire to remain in His presence.
Musically, Found in the Field carries SEU Worship‘s familiar combination of contemporary synth-driven production, indie-inspired textures and the spontaneous energy associated with university worship gatherings. However, beneath the modern sound is a deliberate emphasis on lyrics that seek to communicate biblical truths rather than simply create an emotional atmosphere.
At its core, the album presents several connected ideas: a God who seeks His people, a Spirit who cannot be contained, a glory that calls for a response and a presence worth pursuing.
That message gives Found in the Field a significance beyond its 13 songs. The project speaks to the reality that encounters with God are not limited to church buildings or carefully planned moments. The imagery of the field points toward the places where people can feel distant, lost or overlooked, while reminding them that God is already present and searching.
The accompanying Found in the Field tour is expected to carry that same message into live gatherings, creating spaces centered on worship, community and drawing near to God.
For SEU Worship, the album is both a collection of songs and a spiritual invitation. Its message is simple: the search is not entirely ours. The Shepherd is already looking, and those who feel far away may discover that they have already been found.
