Tiffany Hudson Bids Farewell To South Africa After Powerful Worship Nights. American worship leader and GRAMMY-winning artist Tiffany Hudson has bid farewell to South Africa following two powerful nights of worship, sharing an emotional message about the impact the country’s believers had on her and her team.
Reflecting on her visit, the Elevation Worship singer thanked South Africans for their warm hospitality and passionate pursuit of God.
“SOUTH AFRICA 🇿🇦 What a gift it has been to worship Jesus with you. Your hunger for God was marking. Thank you for welcoming us into your beautiful country with open arms. We love you!!! Cape Town & Pretoria 🤍,” Hudson wrote on social media.
Tiffany Hudson headlined the Jesus Be The Name – Two Nights of Worship events, which took place on August 1 at Good Hope Christian Centre in Cape Town and on August 2 at Heartfelt Arena in Pretoria. The gatherings brought together believers from across the country for evenings centred on worship, prayer and encountering God.
The events were hosted by Christocentric Worship Events in partnership with events chief organiser Samuel Monyake. Hudson also expressed gratitude to the organisers and her touring team, describing the entire experience as “a dream.”
Recognised as one of the leading voices of Elevation Worship and a worship leader at Elevation Church, Hudson has become known for songs such as More Than Able, Jesus Be The Name and SO BE IT. She also contributed to some of the collective’s biggest worship anthems, including Graves Into Gardens. Her 2023 solo project, Hidden Here, further showcased her heart for intimate, Christ-centred worship.
Throughout the tour, South African worshippers responded with the kind of passionate devotion Hudson described as “marking,” leaving a lasting impression on the visiting team.
