Gracie Binion Kicks Off Official Live Worship Album Rollout With “Wild Rushing Wind.” Worship artist and songwriter Gracie Binion has shared joyful news with fans: the official first single from her forthcoming live worship album is finally here. In a heartfelt post, she revealed that “Wild Rushing Wind” marks the true beginning of the project’s rollout.
“My heart is happy,” Binion wrote. “We’ve released quite a bit over the past year, but we had to revisit a lot of it due to some crossed wires and boring stuff. This is TECHNICALLY the first single in an official rollout for my new, live worship album.”
The recordings come from a live worship night she hosted in Dallas last year. Binion said she had been holding the material carefully, unwilling to release anything half-baked. The upcoming album, she explained, will feature “lots of covers and some precious originals, full of special, Holy Spirit-filled moments.” She closed by thanking supporters for tagging along on the new journey.
“Wild Rushing Wind,” released in late August 2026, serves as Single #1 of that live project. The song captures the atmosphere of Spirit-led worship: expectant, free, and marked by the presence of God. It fits the description of the Holy Spirit-filled moments Binion has guarded since that Dallas night.
Binion, the daughter of longtime worship leaders and songwriters David and Nicole Binion, grew up immersed in music in the McKinney/Dallas area of Texas. She began writing and singing as a child, once stepping away from a potential Disney opportunity to stay rooted in leading worship. At 16 she co-wrote the ballad “Hunger” with Grammy-winning songwriter Mitch Wong. The song later appeared on her parents’ live album and was recorded by CeCe Winans on the Grammy-winning Believe for It.
In recent years she has built her own path under her given name (after earlier work as MDSN), releasing the reflective debut album I Miss You in 2024, contributing to Elevation Rhythm’s widely streamed “GOODBYE YESTERDAY,” and signing with BEC Recordings. Her music consistently blends intimate worship with honest, contemporary expression.
With “Wild Rushing Wind” now out as the official first single, Binion is inviting listeners into the carefully tended live recordings from that Dallas night. The full album promises both familiar songs reimagined in the room and original moments born in the presence of the Holy Spirit. For an artist who has waited to present this work properly, the release feels like the start of something long anticipated.
